Privacy Policy
At SQN Haunt, privacy isn't just a legal check-box—it is the foundation of the safety I promise you. This policy outlines exactly what happens to the minimal data you share with me.
1. The Data I Collect
I only hold data that you choose to give me directly. This includes:
The name, email, and phone number you submit via the website form.
Your phone number or social media handle if you message me directly via WhatsApp or Instagram.
Any brief logistical notes (dates/times of our meetings).
2. How I Use Your Data
I am a human being, not a corporation. I will only ever use your contact information to:
Coordinate, schedule, and host our hangouts.
Send an occasional, genuine follow-up message to check how you are doing.
What I will never do: I do not use marketing tracking pixels, I do not send automated newsletters, and I will absolutely never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. The Right to "Opt-Out" of Check-ins
Your boundaries are entirely respected. If I reach out to check on you in the future and you would prefer I don't, simply reply with "Stop," "Please don't check in," or any variation of that phrase. I will immediately scrub your contact details from my active list.
4. Data Storage & Security
This website is hosted on Squarespace, with submissions securely backed up to Google Drive. Our primary conversations happen via standard encrypted communication apps like WhatsApp and Instagram, meaning your contact details are protected by industry-standard security.
For our Digital Haunts, we use secure, industry-standard video platforms like Google Meet or Zoom, ensuring our live video and audio sessions are fully encrypted and private.
Since our connection has no strict expiration date and you are always welcome back to the Haunt, I keep your information on file. This allows us to easily pick up where we left off, or lets me occasionally check in on you. However, I will permanently delete your data at any time upon your request.
5. Your Rights
Under UK data protection laws, you have the right to ask me what data I hold about you, to correct it, or to ask me to permanently delete every trace of our contact history at any time. To do so, just send me a message.
