Terms of Service & Boundaries
Welcome to SQN Haunt. This space is built on human connection, mutual respect, and clear boundaries. By engaging in a conversation, hangout, or catch-up with me (whether in-person or digitally), you explicitly agree to the following terms:
1. Age Requirement
You must be a legal adult to use this service. Because legal age varies globally, you must be at least 21 years old at the time of our conversation, regardless of your country of residence. While you are welcome to use a preferred nickname or first name for your comfort and privacy, by initiating contact and stating "I agree," you legally confirm that the physical person operating your account is at least 21 years of age.
2. Nature of the Service & Legal Boundaries
As stated across this website, I am a peer sounding board. I am not a licensed medical professional, therapist, psychiatrist, lawyer, or certified accountant. Because of this:
No Clinical Privilege: Our conversations do not carry medical, psychological, or legal "client confidentiality" privilege.
The Safety Boundary: While I promise absolute personal privacy regarding your personal life, dreams, and everyday struggles, this privacy ends where the law begins.
You must not disclose, discuss, or confess any past, present, or planned illegal activities, or anything involving imminent danger to human life (including yourself or others).
If I am made aware of illegal acts or a direct threat to life, I am legally and morally obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities.
3. Absolute Ban on Recordings
True presence requires safety and vulnerability. To protect the integrity of our conversations:
No recording of any kind is permitted. This includes audio recording, video recording, taking secret screenshots, or using AI tools to generate live text transcripts.
This applies equally to Face-to-Face Hangouts and Digital Haunts. Any attempt to record our interaction will result in the immediate termination of the hangout without a refund.
4. Mutual Right to Terminate
A hangout is a voluntary human interaction. I reserve the absolute right to refuse service, end a conversation mid-way, or decline a booking request if I feel uncomfortable, if boundaries are crossed, or if the interaction shifts into a territory that requires professional clinical help.
